Nestled within the iconic Portes du Soleil area, the Region Dents du Midi is renowned for its world-class bike park and extensive trail network. The infamous World Cup DH track is especially known for its extremely demanding technical features.
From September 4 to 7, 2025, this track will once again challenge the world’s best downhill athletes with its steep gradients, exposed roots, daring jumps, and razor-sharp turns. Having already witnessed unforgettable performances on the global stage, Champéry is set to deliver yet another spectacular showcase of speed, precision, and courage in 2025.
Downhill is cycling at its most electrifying. It’s a race against the clock where the fastest to the bottom takes the glory. Racers and their machines are pushed to the limit, fine-tuned to handle mind-bending velocity, brutal terrain, and split-second decisions as they tear down steep mountain slopes.
I’m thrilled to experience the World Championships on the beautiful and legendary Champéry track! This will be my second time racing here after the 2024 European Championships and racing at home is always special. It's going to be magical!
Camille Balanche / Swiss athlete, world champion and event ambassador
It’s a true joy to welcome the world’s MTB downhill elite back to Champéry, racing once again on the legendary World Cup track. While the return of these events stirs unforgettable memories, the entire region is already looking forward to creating new ones!
Jacques Berra / Mayor of Champéry
What a privilege it is for the beautiful Region Dents du Midi, and the host resort of Champéry in particular, to welcome the top names in downhill mountain biking for the UCI World Championships 2025.
